Piano / Keyboard Flute and Guitar lessons
We have over 20 years of experience teaching piano, keyboard and flute. We have taught pupils classical piano to ABRSM grade 8 and above. We also offer theory and aural training to assist with taking ABRSM exams (eg grade 5 theory).
As well as classical training we have taught many pupils in a less formal way developing their keyboard skills to help them play by ear or from chords.
We cater for any age or skill level from the complete beginner to the advanced student. We believe firmly that each student learns in a different way and has different priorities. We therefore use lots of different methods of teaching and do not always use the same tutor book (and often no tutor book).
Singing Lessons
As well as musical theatre classes we also give individual singing lessons teach students of all ages whether to take exams or just to improve their singing. We teach ABRSM, Trinity and Rockschool syllabuses and can prepare students for exam entry in Singing for Musical Theatre or classical singing exams.
Prices etc
We charge £20 for 30 minute lessons. Generally speaking 30 minutes a week during school term time is almost always enough. Your first lesson is free so you can check out whether you want to continue. We don't charge up front for individual lessons and most students pay as they go. Please feel free to phone or email if you want to discuss or arrange your first free lesson.
